Tom Rowlandson can provide clay coaching to individuals and groups seven days per week. This is subject to availability; shooters requiring tuition should always confirm timings by phone prior to arrival.
Wyre Gun Club is open every Sunday (less Remembrance Sunday) and Boxing Day between 1000-1200. 1200 is the time the last entry will be taken, not when the shooting grounds are cleared.
You do not need your own gun if you are having a lesson from Tom or one of the other Wyre Gun Club coaching team. Those who wish to shoot unaccompanied must have their own gun and hold a valid shotgun certificate.
There are no lower or upper age limits for clay target shooting. However, all shooters must be physically and mentally capable of safely holding and operating a shotgun. Typically, 10 years-old is a reasonable starting age but this varies from person to person.

It may be advisable to bring a sweatshirt or jumper to wear over your t-shirt in order to absorb some of the recoil from the gun
